From kitchen porter to creating delicious menus as Head Chef.
I started in pressup back in 2008, I was a kitchen porter in captain americas blanchardstown, I moved up quickly through each area of the kitchen from kitchen porter to grill chef and then deliveries manager, I found a love for food and wanting to be better and pressup gave me the greatest opportunity by sending me to DIT to learn culinary arts
Kev Cannon
Kev is our Head of beverage. He's been with Press Up for the past five years and has risen through the ranks to his current position of head of beverage. In this role, Kev is responsible for the day to day running of the beverage function.
Each day is different and exciting and can range from stock takes and checks, on the ground training with staff, meeting new and existing suppliers or working on the latest cocktail concept with venue bar managers. Kev gets to work with some very exciting brands and is regularly takes teams of bartenders to brand homes/distilleries/breweries to learn more about the products they are selling.
