We are looking for a talented and dynamic Assistant General Manager with a passion for service to join our team in Layla's at The Devlin Hotel.
- Drive to push an already fantastic business to the highest that it can achieve
- Upholding constant level of staff productivity
- Desire to progress into senior management in time
- Strong interest and passion in mixology and cocktail service
- Ongoing staff training in coffee, wine & food items
- Ensure quality & safety controls followed
- Waste recorded correctly & accounted for
- Keeping restaurant constantly organised & checklists adhered to
- Nurture a positive working environment and lead by example
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Maintain demeanour in fast paced environment & equally make use of downtime effectively
- All online and email reviews responded to
- Till and safe count opening and closing
- Staff breaks, bathroom and safety sheets all filled out and logged
- Keeping staff motivated
- Correct breaks taken in timely manner
- Assigning sections and delegating tasks
- Liaising with head wait to ensure restaurant closed, cleaned & organised for next shift
- Have experience within a high-volume venue
- Have a passion for mixology
- Flexibility with shift times
- Be committed to continual personal improvement and advancement in their profession.
- Have a keen eye for detail
- Be a hands-on natural leader
- Level-headed/sensible and consistent in nature, trustworthy and reliable
- Ability to work flexibly under pressure with a good sense of humour
- Approachable with excellent people skills
- Superior customer service skills
- Previous experience and strong knowledge of food and beverage essential
- Strong communicator
