Meeting and Events Executive

We are currently seeking a passionate and dynamic Meetings and Events Executive who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests. As Meetings and Event Executive, you are responsible for the success of the meeting, catering, and event segment of the hotels. You will secure the business, plan the meeting / event, co-ordinate with hotel operations and clients before, during and after each meeting / event and your role will include key responsibilities

Reporting To: Group Sales and Events Manager
Location: Full Time Role with flexibility required at times // Location: Cluster Venue Role – On occasion you may need to be onsite in one of our Dublin hotels.
Responsibilities

Your role will include key responsibilities such as:

• Communicating with new customers/ guests their requirements for each event and meeting, e.g., conference room requirement, catering needs, entertainment etc.

• Responding to all clients’ enquiries and creating event proposals

• Maintaining close working relationship with operational teams to ensure exceptional delivery of service

• Daily communicating the team as regards to new promotions and products

• Carrying out administrative duties as required by clients and business e.g., issuing contracts, invoices and collecting payments in a timely manner

• Updating hotel CRM system with clients’ details

• Communicating with the sales and events team alongside your meetings and events cluster to foster a healthy, fun working environment

• Creating sales opportunities for future events during client liaisons and during site inspections

• Assessing an event’s overall success of the event and providing feedback to client / venue

• Reporting as guided by management

Requirements

• 2+ years of meetings and events experience

• An ability to work within a team

• An interest in setting and maintaining standards

• A good sense of humour and resilience
