Job Description
We are currently seeking a Reception Agent to join the team in The Dean Cork. If you are passionate about exceptional customer service and have previous front office experience, with Opera in a busy hotel then we would love to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a polite and friendly manner
- To anticipate guest’s needs and ensure that service is provided beyond guest expectations
- Energetic and enthusiastic personality
- To have a thorough knowledge and understanding of all standards of performance and delivery within the nights department
- Cleaning of public areas and ensure that corridors, stairways and fire exits are cleaned and well maintained
- Assisting guests with luggage as required
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
- Assist guests with any requests e.g. information, making bookings, and directions
- Ensure all access to the hotel is secure as required by hotel policy and procedure
- Ensure all set ups for following day are done
Requirements
- Must have experience using Opera PMS
- Must have a background in the hospitality industry
- Will need to be self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative
- Carry out any other activities as notified to you by management
- Overseeing room allocations
- Must have experience at implementing SOPS training
